A small studio. Four things in the workshop.
Arctaur makes apps and games: a writing tool, a universe, a reading list and, the odd one out, a training log. They look nothing alike, on purpose. Each one gets the world it needs.
The bear and the bull
Arctaur joins two old words: arktos, Greek for bear, and taurus, Latin for bull. In Danish they are Bjørn and Tyr, the names of the two brothers this studio is named after.
The A in our wordmark is a constellation: five stars drawn as a letter, for the bears and bulls people have always found in the night sky.

Our apps save to your device first, work offline, and let you export everything. This website has no cookies and no tracking.
Bring your own AI
Oplys and Kallus work with the AI you already use, through files you can read. Ariadne is built for working alongside Claude Code. None of them hides a model behind your back.
No dark patterns
No nagging, no fake urgency, no holding your data hostage. What we say is free stays free.
