ORBIS
A god game about everything that ends.
You are a will that wakes with the universe: no body, no name, only attention. What you stir in the first fire becomes galaxies. Stars form, worlds cool, and life arises where it can. None of it is scripted.
The trailer is captured from the game itself.
Everything ends. Something asked whether that was all right. You are the long answer.
From the opening of Orbis
A universe that runs itself.
Everything here is simulated, from the first fire to the first prayer. You shape conditions, not outcomes.
One zoom, everywhere
From outside the universe's expanding edge down to one creature on a distant world, on any galaxy, star or planet, without a single cut.
Time follows your gaze
Pull back and history flies. Look closely and the universe waits for you.
Living worlds
Moving continents, climate and rivers, and hundreds of evolving species with food webs, extinctions and a Tree of Life you can browse.
Peoples, tongues and faiths
Minds emerge from evolution, never on a timer. They found languages, settlements and faiths that misread you, split, and sometimes reject you.
Communion
Rarely, a prophet seeks you. You understand them perfectly. They understand you only through signs, a gesture, or silence, and what they take home becomes doctrine.
Ride any creature
Walk, fly or swim in first person. Its urges come from real needs, and what you do changes the world.
Explain everything
Ask why of any number or colour and follow the chain of causes. The Chronicle, an illuminated codex, writes the history down.
Life arises where it can. Minds arise where they must.

And when it ends.
Orbis is in development. These parts of the design are on their way and not playable yet.
The Reaching
- Science that tries to explain you
- Mortals who build wards against you
- Launches into space, and a quiet galaxy
Endings are inheritance
- A long, playable twilight
- You choose what passes on
- The way a universe dies shapes the next one
Before you ask.
Is there a story?
No authored plot. History, myths and a deeper mystery all come out of the simulation, and the Chronicle writes them down.
Can I lose?
There is no game over. But barren universes and extinctions leave scars on what follows.
Do I play as a god with a body?
No. You are felt, not seen: a gaze, a lens, a sigil. Mortals have to guess at you.
Are there rival gods?
No. Entropy is a law, not a villain.
Mouse, keyboard or controller?
Both, as equals, from the start. Every control can be rebound.
When can I play it?
